EXPERIENCE:
Cumulus Atlanta is looking for an experienced sales leader to be Sales Manager of Rock 100.5 (WNNX-FM) and 99X (WWWQ-HD2)  This individual must be a strategic thinker who welcomes accountability with a “lead by example” work ethic. Documented success in local sales management and non-spot revenue generation is required. This person must be able to demonstrate exemplary recruitment/training skills and have a track record in achieving sales budgets.


JOB SUMMARY: 
The successful candidate will be required to recruit, hire and develop closers.  In field coaching, training and individual focus meetings are fundamental.  The person hired will cultivate long-standing client relationships, penetrating businesses directly at the highest level as well as through their agencies, achieving budgets by selling integrated solutions that utilize our multiple marketing assets.  Superior inventory management proficiency and a track record of driving AUR are key.

Job Requirements

  • New business to business experience preferred with recognition as top-performer

  • Media sales background preferred, not required

Description:
Responsible for sales related functions of the company by performing the following duties personally or assisting others. The sales coordinator functions as a crucial element within the sales department. Therefore the sales coordinator should be an active participant in the sales process, lending, not only administrative support, but creative ideas and feedback. Must be an energetic, enthusiastic, people person with time management skills and the ability to perform multiple tasks for many people. Must have endurance, patience and superior time and project management skills. Must interface with the national rep firm to accept all orders, revisions and other client relations to include continuity and traffic matters.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or business school; two to five years in an administrative/sales setting or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

    • Assisting National Sales Management in creating sales collateral
    • Assisting with contract writing, confirmations, and production orders
    • Assisting station clients with sales questions, when needed

    Katz Advantage Sales Assistant

    OBJECTIVE
    Assisting Account Executives  with support duties for handling high volume of radio airtime sales of represented stations to advertising agencies.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Maintains sales agreements between the advertising agencies and television/radio stations. This includes: receiving orders, transmitting to stations, confirming and generating contacts, and resolving discrepancies.
    • Handles all airtime scheduling problems (revisions, cancellations, preemptions makegoods, etc.).
    • Services and assists clients (advertising agencies, media buyers and station managers) when needed. Heavy phone contact with them on a daily basis.
    • Assists Account Executive with preparing presentations; use of rating and research information.
    • Perform other responsibilities as directed by supervisor or manager

      Specifications
    • Candidate must have a college degree in Communications, TV/Radio and/or Marketing.
    • Must be an excellent communicator
    • Ability to handle many tasks at once and to prioritize workload.
    • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies.
    • Being a team player is important to be successful in this position.
    • Must be computer literate (Microsoft Suite) and have willingness to learn new industry related programs.
